My morning routine is one of the most grounding, sacred parts of my day. It’s not just about checking things off a list—it’s about creating a ritual that nourishes my mind, body, and soul, setting the tone for everything that follows. It starts with making my bed, a small but powerful way to begin the day with intention and accomplishment. Then, I head to the bathroom for my skincare and gua sha routine, get into a comfy outfit, and head downstairs with my dogs. While they get their morning stretch outside, I make my greens drink to fuel my body with minerals and nutrients. Next, I take my supplements and my olive oil + grapefruit shot (I usually do lemon, but grapefruit has been my go-to lately). Then, it’s time for my favorite moment—making my @shaynas.kitchen matcha with my homemade almond milk. 🌿☕ I take my matcha outside, where I ground my feet on the earth, no matter the weather. Rain or shine, this simple practice keeps me connected, present, and balanced. After that, Oliver and Panda have their breakfast, I wake up the farm dogs, and then I transition into my meditation and journaling—two practices that have completely transformed my inner peace, self-growth, and even my anxiety.
