The Medieval Festival of Monteriggioni is back this weekend, July 9 and 10! From 11am to midnight, this year "MONTERIGGIONI 1213-155: THROUGH THE HISTORY OF THE GREAT CASTLE" brings back one of the most popular Italian Medieval festivals with reenactments, military camps, itinerant shows, music, combat and more. Taverns and other food stalls open for lunch and dinner. You can also buy many handmade items from the artisan stalls that dot the hamlet and which are part of the festival.
