Margo 🤍 I had the opportunity to meet Margo (@postsmrtne) last year and since then we became close. She is sweet, loving, affectionate but also she is extremely strong. Her home, her country Ukraine was invaded by Russia this year like never before. It’s the neighborhood country of my home (Slovakia) and my home was also invaded by Russia in 1968. We need to have empathy and help Ukraine. We (Slovakia, Czechia and few other nations) know what it’s like to live under Russian oppression and how traumatized are generations of people and what damage it has done. I’m not saying every Russian is bad, i just want to say we need to help Ukraine, we need to have empathy, we need to listen to their stories and their life experiences to understand their emotions. Nobody should suffer, nobody should die because of war. It’s hard to see my friends be so depressed, it’s hard to see broken families who flew the country trying to start new life. It’s hard to know that living in war is reality of many people and many nations. Margo made this art piece, it’s an embroidered symbol of Ukraine and it’s from her hair.
