Helzberg Store Manager Julie Miranda met her husband 17 years ago in a small town in Ohio. ❤️ David moved to the U.S. from Mexico when he was 14. Aside from celebrating Mexican holidays such as Rosca de Reyes and Mexican Independence Day and ringing in the New Year with 12 grapes (Las doce uvas de la suerte), the couple’s two children have been raised primarily immersed in American culture and traditions. That’s why, when their daughter Julianna approached them asking to have a traditional Quinceanera birthday celebration, they were extremely surprised! 🎊 “We felt it was very important to honor the traditions, and respect her wishes to celebrate this way. We all did a great deal of research to learn the proper ways.
