When I was going through treatment, @brakethrough_media followed me through chemotherapy and radiation and captured my most intimate moments. It was an incredibly tender and trusting relationship as we created images evocative of my struggles, my pain, my victories, and my joy. It’s the creative project I’m most proud of. This image is of my newly healed under the muscle expanders (post double mastectomy) and arms that were mauled from IVF and anesthesia.
