5 things that surprised me about #Aruba Do any of these surprise you? 1)Aruba is an island of 2 sides. On the southwestern side it’s white sand and calm beaches. On the opposite side are caves, choppy waters, cacti and dry land. 2) Aruba is outside of the hurricane belt and typically has the most sunny days in the Caribbean. Which means there is never a bad time to visit Aruba 🇦🇼 3)In Aruba you will hear some familiar and unfamiliar sounds. Papiamento and Dutch are official languages, however, English is widely spoken. Papiamento is a creole language that contains elements of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, English, French, and some Arawakan. 4) We were surprised that during our entire trip we didn’t see any red lights.
