It is an honor to be nominated to @mipad100's 100 Most Influential People of African Descent list. I believe that creative rights are civil rights. IP rights are fundamental rights. My personal mission is to advocate for the empowerment and self-agency of the creative class especially especially for the marginalized, stigmatized, and underrepresented. Art, music, poetry, dance, and all other art forms is the history of the unrecorded. This is especially true for the African diaspora. Our history is in every back beat, braid, and trend and is the heartbeat of culture. I am honored to be nominated for my small contributive to the vast world of creative spaces.
