Happy end of the semester! My MUS 106 learned Hotel California as an ensemble piece to wrap up the semester, and I’m so proud of them for learning this in only a couple weeks before we made this video. This class started the semester with the basics of piano (here are the groups of 2 and 3 black keys and this is how the staff works) and ended with knowing all their major and minor chords, several scales/cadences, how to play from a lead sheet, and doing lots of sight reading so they can learn easier pieces on their own once the semester is over. We’ve had a lot of fun together in class the past 14 weeks!! 💜🎹💜
