I don’t talk about it too often but when I think about it, I’ve had my go around when it comes to being a part of the music industry. I’ve been signed to not one, not two but three girl groups! Not to mention California Dreams who was signed to a record label back in the day called MCA. All of these bands got “shelved” in one way or the other. In some of the bands we were pioneers that went before the well known stars you know today. Not many people could imagine all the hard work put into creating an album and keeping a band together even before anything happens. It’s not easy. And RARELY does anyone become an overnight success. I learned so much, worked with a variety of different producers, and had sisterhood in my life. Something I would never trade. Some of my favorite times have been in the recording studio.
