Summer hair care☀️☀️☀️ . . Turn your sound up for this one. One aspect of summer hair care that is often forgotten is using a UV protectant spray to maintain your color and shine. For this little experiment, I took Bellami hair extensions and separated them into two bundles. One of the bundles I sprayed with a UV protectant by the brand SEVEN and the other I did not. I ended up leaving both of these strands out in the sun for three days straight, only bringing them in at night. . . And what you can see is a difference in color and shine already. The extensions that were protected by the spray maintained the vibrancy while the other bundle began to hollow out and shed some of the red color. This was only 36 hours in the sun, which as you can imagine, would be a much bigger difference over the course of an entire summer. This doesn’t just apply to vibrant colors either. Whether your hair is a shade of brown or is toned and blonde, the sun can affect the color quite a bit over the course of time.
