The amount of brands that are asking for the absolute most in deliverables/content for just a gifted collaboration is insane. Now don't get me wrong! I still accept gifted collaborations but very sparingly. At the end of the day, I have two under two and my time is limited. Exposure also does not pay my bills. Content creating has become my full-time job and the number of hours I spend studying the brand, the type of content they already post, the quality I need whether it be outside lighting or studio lighting, the editing, the aesthetic, the hashtags, etc. On top of nursing my son every two hours and dealing with my toddler's temper tantrums. I just can’t bring myself to accept gifted collaborations with strings attached to them. Please pay your creators fairly! We’re a one-person crew and you spend 5x the amount on an actual professional photographer/videographer.
