So grateful my mum taught me this lesson from a young age & i thought i‘d share this with you too. Self love is so important in every aspect of life: Your happiness, your peace, your success, your relationships, your marriage.. the list goes on. Don’t mistake Selflove with Arrogance and Selfishness! Even Islam wants us to love, appreciate and respect ourselves, our bodies that were made in perfection. Islam teaches us to forgive our shortcomings, and those of others. It teaches us how to keep trying and never lose hope. Love yourself enough to remind yourself of our deen and always come back to it, love yourself enough to hold on to prayer and patience, love yourself enough to smile and start each day positive with an open heart. Love yourself enough to know you may not be perfect but it doesn’t make you a bad person. If you want to change your life for the better, start loving yourself and give yourself the chance to get up everytime you fall and be better than before. *ps.
