I owe this man a lot - when I was a young father and freelance designer money wasn't constant and sometimes hard to come by - giant corporate apparel companies (ironically) never paid on time (called slow pay - I call it bad form) - money didn't always stretch far - checks were bouncing at the local grocery and no gas in the tank - I learned a lot of life lessons then - currency isn't alway a system of money it was also an opportunity to do for others - to pay it forward whenever humanly possible - what goes around comes around - during these young days jiu-jitsu was expensive and a luxury - I had to stop when I was blue belt - allan noticed after only one week and came to my house- he said "tenore where have you been" - I told him my situation and he said "see you tomorrow - don't worry about the money it will all work out my brother" at the time allan was recognized as a super star in jiu jitsu and already known world wide for both mma and being one of Carlson's star pupils (along with @vitorbelfort and many others - they were the top of the top second to none ) - since then the rest is history and we all still brothers 🥋🥋🥋 a bond nobody can break (no matter how much we argue 😂) if you know the roots of jiu jitsu you know who allan vitor and master carlson are - they all played important roles in pioneering the golden years of jiu jitsu to mma - I was lucky to be side by side with sensei allan and experince his great fight with @saku39ks to having master carlson teach talk story bbq promote us - had no idea the life I was living all because allan looked out for me - before I had anything to offer him - @carlsongracieteamoficial the man who saved jiu jitsu pioneered jiu jitsu x mma team - fighting anyone and everyone for honor and respect - the best - proud of my jiu jitsu roots - long story short allan showed me what it was to pay it forward - to be a warrior - to respect everyone and to know right from wrong - to do good and fear no man. love you sensei thank you for all the life lessons - never forget where I came from and the great master carlson (rest in peace) lucky to learn from the goat during the golden years of jiu jitsu 🙏🥋 respect --->
