2022 was a big year for BCA Ambassador @sophiaschwartz —from skiing in 6 countries with 40 different partners (including bringing 5 people on their first ever ski tour), to achieving a first descent on Mt. Hubley in Alaska. Sophia skied in the Arctic, and Pico de Orizaba in Mexico (the 3rd highest peak in North America at 18,400 ft). Included in Sophia's impressive list of ski accomplishments is backing away from two summit attempts in her local domain of Wyoming. "I’m also proud to say I bailed during attempts on the Middle Teton and Mt. Moran this year due to conditions and reminding myself that turning around on these big peaks is equally worth celebrating!"
