10 countries in 2024 here’s something I learned/story from each one :) Madeira, Portugal 🇵🇹 - favorite place I’ve been to in Europe, I want to retire here bc villas are 400k euros. No mosquitos here either A Coruña, Spain 🇪🇸 - if you buy a glass of wine here they give you complimentary apps. South Hampton, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - While I was waiting for my Uber, these school boys called us ch*nks, they asked if my boyfriend and I are dating. I said yes, I asked them are they dating and one of them said yes and kissed the other on the cheek while the other one squirmed. Amsterdam, the Netherlands 🇳🇱 - I guess its tradition that bachelor parties would make the groom wear an inflatable pen15 costume, watch out for the stairs here Paris, France 🇫🇷- if you like spice in your food I recommend bringing a bottle of hot sauce everywhere you eat. Also seeing a dr*g bust while taking pictures by the Eiffel Tower was not on my 2024 bingo card Taipei, Taiwan 🇹🇼 - My experience here was my least favorite. I still had fun moments. My professor was very unprofessional to me Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 - I loved almost every second here, great place to travel aloneI. Keep a ziploc bag for your change, you’ll often get handed coins instead of bills. I fainted in a yakitori pub restroom in Osaka (I was sober) and a guy got mad because he had to pee and I couldn’t open the door (while I was unconscious) Saigon, Vietnam 🇻🇳- it’s good to be home :) I came here to visit my 95 year old grandma. Mexican food is the same price here as it would be in the states. Abu Dhabi/Dubai, United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 - My favorite place I’ve been to this year it’s crazy to see so much culture/wealth. I felt like a Princess, I accidentally went inside a random car thinking it was my Uber and the guy driving the car was really nice and understanding when I sat in his car lol. Rosarito, Mexico 🇲🇽 - Despite my parents having a condo out here i only came here once in 2024. I need to go here more often and take advantage of beach views. Also the Titanic was filmed here over at Baja studios #solotravel #travel2024 #aroundtheworld
