PBS (Live Edit) from the forthcoming @backtominemusic compilation is available to stream everywhere now 🙏 PBS, one of the earliest songs from Past is Prologue, was written on a chilly January evening in Sacramento in 2003. I was inspired playing around with a new synthesizer — the Novation KS4 — and wrote the main melody. By the time the song was finished it had become the centerpiece of the album. PBS (Live Edit) is the result of years of playing the song live with the band and subtly changing things. I typically stay true to the album version when playing songs live, but with PBS I flipped the final part into a new space giving it a little drive and energy.
