Two year anniversary of “How Did Edward Lose His Accent” by @teddyalexis! This show meant a lot to me, and I’m so grateful for the lasting deep friendships that came out of it. I got to play a white, queer Latina artist at a time where I was really struggling with my identity, and this show showed me that all facets of me could coexist. I did this show to honor my Grandma, who immigrated to the US from Honduras, and unfortunately she passed away in the middle of the process, so being able to honor her and her memory during that immensely challenging time full of grief gave me bits of light every day. The cast was full of such talented, wonderful artists who made me smile and feel loved on days when I felt like I was at my lowest, and it was incredible to sit back and be in awe at the sheer talent I witnessed every day. Thank you to this beautiful story and my lovely Edward family <3
