#wser 💔 I feel numb. Sadness, disappointment, anger and defeat come in waves. Between those waves I feel courage and determination. The questions in my head keep bouncing around; How could it end like this? What actually happened out there? Could it just be a bad nightmare and I’ll wake up soon? Much if it is blurry, and there are some definite blank spots. For now, I’ve chosen to focus my gratitude on the people who lift me up. Each of you who shared these moments both near and far— friends, family, coworkers, volunteers (especially those who found me on the trail), fellow runners, race staff and most importantly, my incredible crew. Josh, Nathan, Robyn and Teddy, I truly would not have made it out and through without you, thank you for continuing to help put me back together.
