FALLEN ANGEL ♾ is out now. I am typing this into my to phone and there is something happening in me with this release. This song started in a studio in LA. It was the last song after many sessions in one day. Sophie and I had moved into our new house, AG was visiting from London, Dan was working in another room. Eventually we all met up at the end of the day. I was holding a notebook. Sophie was on the computer, Dan was next to her, and AG on the couch. Fallen Angel is about the moment where you decide to set yourself free. To be a Fallen Angel is to break free from the world around you and make a new garden. At the time it was about love. Choosing the girl. Risking everything. Saying yes to your interior you. The really far in one. Hiding one. Actualizing your internal landscape externally and releasing. Something transformed in me in making this song. Over the years of holding it, it has taken on a new form. And so have I.
