Soooooo this happened over the weekend!!️!!️ @gilbert006 and I entered into our very first pickleball tournament on Saturday. The NP Prescott Summer Classic was quite the experience!! We managed to earn Gold in the Mixed Doubles 3.0:19+,35+. It was so nerve wracking for me!!! 😆😆 We won the first match and lost the second one putting us in the losers bracket. The only way we had a chance to win the tournament after losing our second match was to go undefeated the rest of the day and we did! We even got the chance to play the team we lost to in the Gold medal match. We played two games to 11 and a final game to 15 and won all three! I have so many people to thank! First, my amazing husband. @gilbert006 thank you for not giving up on me and for helping me get better every practice. Thank you to @cadennemoffpb for helping me improve on my dinks! Thank you to @rileynewmanpb @lindseynewman27 for not only hosting an awesome camp where we learned so much but for also motivating and inspiring us to get better and get better together. Thank you to @proxrpickleball for our paddles that led us to victory. We are so grateful that we got to start our journey with top notch paddles. Thank you to @drinkpwrlift for making sure we are stocked up! We didn’t have any cramping issues thanks to your protein infused water packed with b-vitamins and electrolytes. They say drillers make killers and we plan to do a whole lot more drilling! It’s never too late to do something different.
