When two Dutch designers, Gilles de Brock and @jaapgiesen, built a machine that could print beautiful custom ceramic tiles, orders came flooding in from around the world. The pair met 16 years ago in school and pursued their own careers in design, before eventually starting @studio.gdb, despite not knowing a thing about tile printing. They now have clients around the world – from London coffee shop @watchhouse to Dutch eyewear brand @aceandtate.
