Nancy (@avocadofairy) is a true Humble Hero. She's also warm, funny, and likes to swear a lot 🙈 Nancy has a brain tumour and has been given a devastating two years, unless she can access the life extending treatment, Optune. Her dream had always been to be a published author, and that dream has now come true. Not only that but she's donated all the profits from her book to the Brain Charity so that others cans benefit. Nancy is currently campaigning for Optune treatment to be available on the NHS, and Claire, who nominated her is fundraising to pay for this treatment for Nancy as soon as possible.
