It is truly a blessing and a testament of God, the fact that I am literally standing 7 days away from reaching the precipice of something I have envisioned for myself since I was a little boy. Ever since I was a young adolescent I always wanted to follow in the footsteps of many great black men; specifically my grandfather (c/o 1952)-and become a Morehouse Man. Within a matter of days I will be continuing this legacy as a third generation grad; cementing my name amongst decades of prestigious black male alumni! Next Sunday I am no longer a Man of Morehouse; but rather I will be officially A Morehouse Man!! This long overdue accomplishment is something I have forever promised to fulfill not only to my family but also to myself. I firmly believe in finishing what you start! Culminating the recent years of my collegiate journey I have grown immensely as a person and as a performer. I am a firm believer in “there is no success without service” and “there is no progress without struggle”. Starting this journey two years ago, I had no idea where it would lead me. But with my faith in God and the support of my family-two years later I have been in my first professional Theater Production, been a speaker at a billion dollar fundraising gala, been apart of an international clothing campaign with Ralph Lauren Polo, WHILE maintaining a 4.0gpa for four consecutive semesters.
