When I look at our nativity scene, I consider the wonder & joy & pain & fear & goodness that must have all been present the night Jesus was born. As a mother, I think about this piece with a new sense of awe. I understand the pain and waiting and overwhelming joy that comes as a new life bursts into the world! There are truly no words for it!
