💔 Update on the Bentley Park Rescue Mare 💔 First of all, a heartfelt thank you to Emerald Equine Vets for being the best as always & coming out so quickly and helping us tonight , and to Rainbow Equine Hospital for reviewing her scan images. Unfortunately, the outcome is not what we hoped. The mare has suffered a serious abdominal wall rupture, with her intestines displaced below her abdomen. The only option to save her is major abdominal surgery. To make matters more complicated, her microchip records list her as deceased in 2019, which has created legal and welfare complications. We have notified the police and the relevant welfare authorities and are awaiting permissions for the next steps. The surgery comes at a huge cost, and as much as I want to give her the best chance, I simply cannot afford it alone. 💔 Thankfully, some amazing friends have already stepped up to help and have set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for her surgery and aftercare. 🙏 If you are able to support, every little contribution will help give this brave girl the chance she deserves.
