Wow, I can’t believe that the wedding is next month! Alexis, I am so honored that you asked me to take engagement photos for you and Sean, and it astonishes me how quickly time seems to fly by — it feels like not so long ago, we were both still in high school playing badminton together, and now you’re all grown up and getting married before me (meanwhile, I’m still in school...). I can’t wait to visit Santa Barbara for the first time next month (it’s funny how I’ve lived in California for so many years but have still never gone to SB...), as I’m sure you picked a beautiful venue by the beach to match the Malibu sands where this engagement photoshoot took place, but what I can’t wait for even more, is to see you embark on this next big step in your life, because it’s not just a wedding, it’s everything else that comes with it, too.
