You guys! I hit 100K on @shop.ltk 💞 I started my blog 15 years ago at a desk at E! News because I’ve always believed the way we dress can shape how we feel. My blog, Damsel in Dior, was never about distress, but about getting dressed in a way that made you feel as if you were wearing Dior. Confident. Beautiful. Put together from the inside out. For so long that philosophy guided everything I did. But over the past couple of years I lost that spark. Life was heavy and the joy of getting dressed faded. I didn’t feel like myself and the creativity that once came naturally went quiet. About 6 months ago something shifted. I wanted to feel creative again. I set a lofty goal of reaching 100K followers on @shop.ltk and committed to showing up every day. It wasn’t easy or small, but piece by piece it brought me back to myself. Hitting that milestone feels meaningful because of what it woke up inside me. I also made a promise to show up consistently on my Substack, Basic, to get back to the basics of why I started blogging in the first place. It recently became the number 3 Rising Fashion Substack, which felt like another sign that my voice wasn’t gone. She was just waiting. A few weeks ago when I visited the @dior Gallery in Paris it lit the final spark. Dior has always been woven into my story and walking through that space felt like reconnecting with the girl who fell in love with fashion and storytelling 15 years ago. Something lit up inside me again. I feel inspired. Creative. Excited. Thank you for being here, for following along on LTK, Substack, and here, and for letting me grow and start over as many times as I need. I'm so excited to be heading in to 2026 with a fresh start!
