Blast Off. 🚀✨ Happy born day @kannrestaurant! 🥹After 4+ years of planning and 9 months of construction and design, today is the day we open our doors to the public. ❤️‍🔥 Kann is about Haiti’s rich culture and cuisine. From the origin of BBQ, to its many culinary gifts to the world like epis, pikliz, chocolate, coffee and rum. It’s about Oregon and it’s seasons. It’s about creating a space where teammates can grow and reach for the stars. It’s about paying it forward to the next generation just like how my mentors always supported me. Thank you @quan_jeeravivittapon for staying on the 4 year journey with me to get here. I am fully aware how lucky we are to have you leading our kitchen. No one thought we would get done on time but the team is mighty and we fought every post covid challenge to get here today. This would not have been possible without the tenacity of my bestie @tiavanich. If you know us you know how hard this was. I love you Tia. Thank you for everything.
