I really want you to read this interview with Kamo I did about 9 years ago. It was the very first project I did on my own, before I started working for POPEYE or Brutus etc. I flew back to Tokyo just to see him and I was so broke. The only thing I could only give him at the time was some sweet bean jelly from Toraya. It’s a bit awkward when I look it back now, but he was really cooperative with me.
