It’s always important to remember where you come from to know where you’re headed. Being in this incredible moment, I’m constantly reminded about exactly how important this work is and the work that these three Icons have put in. We’re Here and I dont want to take a moment of this for granted because I’ve seen the change that this show actually makes in the lives of all people that touch it. The ability to come into someone’s life and help them start a journey of healing and moving forward (but with real heart and compassion) is not something you see everyday! I want to thank you @bobthedragqueen, @itsshangela and @eurekaohara for not just being leaders in our community but teachers as well. I’ve watched this show before knowing I could even be apart of something so monumental for so many. I’ve laughed with y’all, cried with y’all, felt connected to y’all and even to the stories thru you. It’s knowledge that is helping guide me so much thru this experience. This show is all about community... Finding community, connecting to communities and celebrating them, telling stories for people who FEEL like they have no voice, then creating something lasting and safe for people, like we all deserve. I’m honored to be an extension to this legacy and continue this work. Just wanted to send y’all love, thanks and to let you know that if/when I need yall I wont be scared to reach out lol. ♥️♥️♥️
