Sunday thoughts…💭 I’m sure we’ve all heard the saying “follow your heart”. Even in scripture it says to guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. But god also tells us that the heart is deceitful. So if the heart is deceitful, how can I trust it to determine the course of my life? You can’t. As humans, we are born into sin, our heart wants us to do what feels good to us, emotionally, but that’s not always the best thing for our souls. That’s why we mussttt use discernment and intention when making the decision on what we let into our space. The good news is, we don’t have to do it alone. Gods living words are written in this cute little book called …the Bible. 66 different books written over 1500 years by many authors- and it all comes together to tell the beautiful story of God. So long story short, I guess we shouldn’t trust our hearts, but we should trust gods plan. Ask him for guidance, and seek him in all you do, and your heart and your life will be in good hands 🫶🏼 He loves you so much, Happy Sunday 🕊️🤍
