Do you ever have those days where you have to force yourself to workout when you would rather just be laying in bed? I had that yesterday, and I had to take a moment to think, is my body tired or is my mind tired? If my mind is tired I realize I’m just being lazy and letting my thoughts get the best of me. If body is tired it’s a different story, it’s giving me cues, so listen to it!
That said, I felt like it was a smidge of both so I took a 13 minute nap, and once the alarm went off, I just dressed quickly and scurried out the door so I couldn’t talk myself out if it. Long story short, I’m so happy that I went, it was a challenging class, I sweat for days, and I was simply just so grateful. In the future, assess if your mind vs. your body is tired; if it’s your mind, push yourself, if it’s your body, then rest! #mondaymotivation
