This past month has been a lot about change and so it felt like the perfect time to finally read AM I THERE YET? by Mari Andrew.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I worked Mari Andrew's event for this book and the first thing she said to me was, "How many people have asked if you are me?" When I met her again a year later, she said, "You probably don't recognize me because I don't look like you anymore!" I knew I loved her and would love this book but was just waiting for the right time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This was the right time. This book is delightful. It is funny, it is heartwarming, it is at times heartbreaking. But more than anything, it is relatable. It is a great reminder that, no matter how you are feeling, you are not alone. Her illustrations are lovely and her writing is beautiful.
