When @nicolas.difelice applied to his new role as artistic director of @courreges, rather than send a bunch of sketches, he sent a letter about his background, where he came from—who he is. “It went on for three pages,” he tells Vogue's Mark Holgate, “and I think only one paragraph was about Courrèges.” He knew that going to the house could only be on his own distinctly personal terms. “The thing is, I had a good life, I had my friends.
