Started DJing in the basement of our old Brooklyn apartment in April 2019, aka “Office Hours.” Looking back through these videos, I was so scared to start that journey. Bought CDJS and had no idea how to set them up, took like 4 hours and had no idea what we were doing. Loading the USB stick was like anxiety attack at first, and @joel.evey supported with friendship and patience. Fear turned into freedom. Did it weekly for nearly a year with Archie asleep in the next room. It changed my life (and also blew those HS5s). Thank you Joel, thank you @brandname.tm, thank you @emilycoates, thank you @markmade for that first CDJ, thank you @virgilabloh for consistently encouraging me and sending tools to keep going, and thank you all the ones that came through.
