All of our jewlery has a high quality layer of 18k gold plating and electrophoresis coating. The main difference between the two metals are that brass metals have a warm, yellowish copper tone whereas Stainless steel metals are more grey and silver. Both are durable and the most sought after of metals for jewlery. All of our plating includes a high polished shine and an e-coating that protects each layer. With proper care, your plating will be resistant to discoloration retaining its color long term. Without proper care, it is common to see slight discoloration if exposed to harsh soaps, chemicals, fragrances etc. This means that while your jewlery is shower safe, your plating should not be exposed to your soaps and shampoos.
