we come to you encouraging you to take a pause from the current news cycle and to regulate your nervous system with this short breathwork exercise.
lowering your eye lids or gently focusing on an object in front of you, begin to notice your breath.
relax your jaw, your forehead and your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
feel supported by whatever surface is holding your body.
take an inhale in through the nose, filling lungs with air completely, your belly rising.
exhale out of the mouth with a sigh, emptying your lungs.
again.
inhale in through the nose, expansive belly.
exhale out of the mouth, with a loud sigh.
repeat.
allow tears to flow.
anger to be felt.
heaviness to be witnessed and observed.
the path to justice requires rest.
rest is needed for this journey and this fight.
