For the first time in my life the thought of going out with the kids and the family without a hijab crossed my mind today. After hearing about the the family that got hit and killed by a car in London Ontario because they are visibly Muslims, the thought is terrifying. I was doing fine accepting the thought of me personally getting hurt while walking because of my hijab, but to have my entire family killed because I am visibly Muslim is unimaginable😭😭 May God guide us, ground us to what's right and just, and protect our loved ones always.
