Winter is here! A few of my favourite Alpine style moments in cinema: Claudia Cardinale and Capucine in the original The Pink Panther (1963) with costumes by Yves Saint Laurent (who apparently found the movie so ridiculous he backed out of his costume contract for the subsequent films...), Audrey Hepburn in Charade (1963) in her Givenchy snowsuit, and Diana Rigg in James Bond: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) with costumes by Marjory Cornelius (if any film is too ridiculous for its good costumes, it’s this one). 🌨️
