a little recap of my under-the-sea themed birthday dinner from friday evening 🐚🦀
worked with the most talented chef @lovejubey to bring my dream menu to life — featuring caviar topped potato paves and a hot honey whipped feta dip as appetizers. for mains she made a grilled corn and kale salad, salmon in a whole grain mustard honey glaze, caramelized miso sesame sweet potatoes, and roasted maple brussel sprouts topped with crispy onions. dessert was the absolute star of the show if you ever needed to know what my perfect dessert is it would be a chocolate chip banana cake with cream cheese frosting !!
for drinks I set up a fishbowl bar complete with candy sharks, edible drink glitter & flamingo straws. manyyy sea breeze (hugo) spritz’s we’re enjoyed ̊⋆𓇼 ̊⊹ 𖦹 +。°
mom / @californiaistoocasual last minute decided florals were needed to complete the tablescape so she made blue and white hydrangea and daisy mini-bouqets with the sweetest pop of yellow chrysanthemums
the most special part was and is always being able to spend time with those who mean the most to me, feeling so loved entering my 26th year around the sun
