One thing many may not know about me is that I am a big supporter of animal rescues. I am so proud to share that my cousin, Michelle, is VP and co-founder of @proudpupsrescue out of Cincinatti, OH! They and their wife, Maria, rescue senior, special needs and hospice dogs from all over. I am so so proud of the work they do for these pups! Proud Pups Rescue is a 100% foster based, volunteer run rescue! It is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with section 501c3 of the internal revenue code. They are also dedicated to reducing the homeless population of pets through adoption, education, and advocacy. Last weekend, Michelle’s mom (my aunt) had a BBQ at her home. Michelle and Maria came and brought several pups who need to be cared for continuously. It’s a difficult job, but they do it with so much heart and compassion. I just adore and love them both.
