(Had to delete the post and re-publish it as there was one grave mistake - i just couldn’t leave it online like that) A bit of context to explain why Ukrainians are so happy this morning upon seeing images of burning Crimean bridge: This bridge is illegal It was built by russia, very pompously, to physically connect russia and Crimea through sea after occupying Crimea in 2014. They celebrated it as a national victory. This bridge connects CrimeanUkrainian Kerch to russian region and is the main road for all supplies to Crimea, including numerous weapons to attack us non-stop for 7, 5 months. Yet also burning it down is very symbolic to us. Burning bridges with russia light our way, and the way of all civilized world towards freedom 🤍🇺🇦
