Ric was literally ripped and aimless. He lived a block from Venice Beach. He lifted heavy at Gold’s, and World’s Gym. Napped on the beach and chatted it up with the ladies. Chugged around Venice and Santa Monica in his old VW bug and took barefoot runs on the sand. He was often sketching and drawing —including the original Gold’s Gym logo. And was known to lift and hang out with Arnold and the boys, eating big at diners and steak houses, and on the weekends maybe hit a dance club in Marina Del Ray.
