Calling all Phoenix-area wine lovers! Don’t miss this upcoming ticketed winemaker dinner at @themickbrasserie featuring @keenanwinery. The winery began over 40 years ago, when Robert Keenan purchased 180 acres on Spring Mountain. The land sits on the east side of the Mayacamas Mountain range at 1,700 feet elevation. Michael assumed leadership of Keenan Winery from his father in 1998 and made the decision to replant the vineyards to increase the quality of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Chardonnay on the estate. Michael is known for his balanced wines with layers of flavors, which he attributes to earlier harvests than majority of Napa Valley.
