It’s been 2 hard, long and devastating years since my father was taken away from us against his will, for standing up for an entire nation in pain—2 years. Two weeks ago, Dad said to us “I don’t kneel down to anyone, it’s not my style.” Those words were all I needed to know that my dad wasn’t broken. He is not broken and neither are we. We will get you home papa, and we’re thankful of the support of world leaders, governments, NGO’s, Hollywood stars and individuals like many of you. We don’t care how much longer we have to fight.
