Skin Cycling is all the rage atm although this type of nightly routine scheduling is not anything new. I always provide my clients with a detailed, nightly routine schedule for optimal skin health. But if you are new to scheduling your nightly skincare routine, this infographic series is just for you. This will also give you some examples of products I use in my nightly skin cycling routine. {save + share} The first night in skin cycling is exfoliation because cell turnover is vital for skin health. For my drier, sensitive skin, my go to is Stratia Skin’s Soft Touch AHA which is a 10% mandelic acid exfoliant. Mandelic acid is gentle & is both water & oil soluble (acts like an aha & bha). But first things first, I start every night time routine with double cleansing. I’ve been obsessed lately with the Krave Beauty Makeup Rewind. It takes off makeup and removes my sunscreen without leaving my skin tight or leaving a residue. I then follow up with a milky, non-foaming cleanser from La Roche Posay. Next it’s time to tone/hydrate & I love a hydrating, soothing & calming toner. The Peach Slices Snail Toner is just too good! I am on my third bottle. After I let the toner complete absorb & dry, I then apply the exfoliating product. Once that is completely absorbed, then it’s time to moisturize. I have been reaching for the Paula’s Choice Vitamin C eye cream because it’s a super lightweight gel cream that hasn’t caused milia plus brightens my dark circles. Then I use a rich cream like the one from Dieux. I don’t recommend slugging on exfoliating nights because it can cause irritation. Stay tuned for Night Two: Retinol! #skincycling #skincycling101 #skincareroutine #skincareproducts #esthetician #estheticiantips #estheticianblogger #glassskin #seattleblogger
