Honestly, when I quit my job 2 years ago it was one of the scariest decisions of my life. I had been working for someone else for half my life (since 16) ...but deep down I KNEW that I could do it! I didn’t grow with examples of entrepreneurship. I don’t have a lot of friends that own business. I was always taught that college and finding a good job was the way. Well, I went to college and dropped out so there’s that! 😅 When I stop to take it all in I’m so incredibly proud of me. For me it’s not just about the money, though financial security important, it’s being able to buy back my time. I can do everything or nothing in a day and not have to answer to anyone! I’m also proud to be an example to my children of how hard work & determination can pay off. To show them that you can succeed in life on your own terms even if they’re unconventional! When you do something that is outside or the norm, people will question and doubt you. All that matters is that you believe in yourself. When you BET ON YOURSELF you can never lose!
