Having Maia as a best friend, is like being born into a rich aristocratic family with an enormous inheritance. It’s winning the life lottery. People all the time are asking me about Maia. How did you meet? How did you not know each other since birth? Do you know how lucky you are? Where can I clone her? Trust me, I’m aware of the privilege it is know and love this rare gem of a human. She loves in such a pure, unconditional form, and it has had such an impact on the way I view the world. I get a lump in my throat even thinking about it.
