Auntie Chelle, easily my favourite name of all time. Today we got to be with my oldest besties, their babies and husbands and it truly was the best *soul food* day. In Glasgow we have a saying "is your mum's best pal even her best pal if she's not your auntie" and it's true because it take a village. I love these kids more than I can put into words sometimes. The eldest is now 10, and I sat looking at her today thinking "I love you so much it hurts my heart" I love that I get to watch them grow and their personalities to come to life. But the reason I love them is because they're from friends that I have known for 37 years, they are them, in miniature and its so much fun. I love my friends so much, and this year not seeing them because of illness has been at times, excruciating. My babies have fur and 4 legs, and have filled a void, but just to be hugged and loved and TRUSTED by a little person, it's so so special ❤️ I have so many pics from today but this is unidentifiable so my boy Finn and Isla in black an white it is.
