Theater Bug Winter Concert Audio Fun Facts and then story time \/ 18 Songs 239 Scenes 55 Inputs 33 RF Channels 14 Handhelds 19 Head Mics 52 kids 8 Mixes 6 Band Members The Theater Bug and quite literally everyone involved with it has become super special to me this year and I think my account should have a permanent little spot for it so get ready for a small essay :) The Theater Bug was one of the first organizations that even bothered to reply to my emails asking if they had any work for an engineer like myself in January. Fast forward 11 months and I’ve been a part of 5 separate productions at the Bug. The Theater Bug sets up a small utopia in each venue that hosts it. Before and/or through 3 of the productions I’ve had some really emotionally painful situations and having the unconditional support and uncompromisingly positive environment that is the Bug. It’s really easy to get out of bed knowing for the next 10 hours I get to be in a place where bad vibes simply cannot last more than about 5 seconds. You won’t understand until you see it for yourself but I’m sure it’s felt by everyone from the musicians, the kids, the production office, the artistic team, the interns, and our lil front of house gang.
